"I've trained throughout the summer and I've already played league games in Norway, so I feel ready. I just want to get started."
In a separate interview with Celtic TV, the striker reiterated his eagerness to integrate quickly into the team environment.
"I just want to get started and be thrown into the fire," Hogh said.
Pundit Praises Transfer
Former Celtic player Vidar Riseth, who currently works as a media pundit in Norway, praised the transfer and suggested Bodo/Glimt could have demanded a higher fee due to interest from clubs across Italy and Germany.
"He's a very good striker.
He's been showing now for many years that he is Champions League level, so this is a good signing for Celtic.
He's been the main man for Bodo/Glimt and has been first-choice always," Riseth said.
Riseth noted that Hogh actively chose the Scottish champions over other potential suitors across Europe. "I think he could have gone for more.
There have been so many clubs interested in him," Riseth said.
"I know there have been teams from Italy, Germany and Norway as well, but everybody understands that in Norway he's too expensive."
Evaluating the deal's financial terms, Riseth stated that the striker's market value exceeded the final agreed price tag.
"So if you look at £11m, I would say that he would have gone for more.
But when Celtic came up, he wanted to play for them, I know that.
He didn't want to wait and bring all the other clubs up to each other and to get the price up because he wants to go to Celtic.
