A man who was discovered severely injured next to his fatbike in Almere has died in hospital, police confirmed on July 28.

The victim was found on Tuinkruidenpad, near Sportpark Klein-Brandt, at around 00:30 a. m.

Two passersby spotted him lying injured on the bike path and immediately called emergency services.

Ambulance personnel performed CPR at the scene before rushing the man to hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Investigation Underway

Police have launched a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Officers are conducting neighborhood inquiries and have noted that the cause of the injuries remains unclear. All potential scenarios are being considered.
