During the live broadcast, Roberts explained that the public response originated online rather than in her daily life.
"Nobody in real life thinks I look like the prime minister. So, this is a TikTok thing," said Emma Roberts, chaplain and TikTok creator.
She noted that comment section activity pushed her content out to broader audiences within weeks.
"I think it's part of the algorithm you know, everyone gets excited and somebody says, 'You look like Andy Burnham.'
I couldn't get a word in edge ways," explained Roberts.
Despite posting serious material, viral commentary overshadowed her primary message.
"I make all of this quite serious and earnest content, you know, about politics and religion, and I couldn't get a word in edge ways.
People kept on saying I look like Andy Burnham, and that was only about two weeks ago. So, it's all just kind of exploded since then," detailed Roberts.
Roberts, who gained approximately 2,000 followers after three months on TikTok, reflected on the widespread coverage of her lookalike status.
"It's all gone a bit crazy, and I'm on the front page of The Sun. So, you can tell it's silly season, can't you?!"
