Audi has introduced its largest production vehicle to date, the all-new Audi Q9 SUV, on July 29, 2026.
The full-size model sits above the Q7 and Q8 as the brand's new flagship.

Measuring 5.31 meters in length, the Q9 offers three-row seating for six or seven passengers. Optional individual captain chairs are available for the second row.
Interior and Technology
The dashboard features a triple-screen layout with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch central display, and a 12.3-inch passenger screen.
A 22-speaker Bang & Olufsen 4D sound system completes the cabin experience.
Electrically operated automatic doors come with environmental sensors to prevent collisions with obstacles.
The vehicle also introduces curved 3D digital OLED taillights on thin glass panels and digital Matrix LED headlights that can project directional signal indicators onto the road.
A panoramic glass roof exceeding 1.5 square meters features adjustable electronic transparency.

"Vorsprung durch Technik will be defined even more strongly in the future by the experience on board," said Audi CEO Gernot Döllner.
"A car has long ceased to be just a means of transportation, but for many of our customers a mobile living space.
The Audi Q9 embodies that vision as the flagship within our portfolio."
Powertrain and Availability
Standard mechanical features include adaptive air suspension, four-wheel steering, and quattro all-wheel drive.
European markets will receive mild-hybrid 3.0-liter V6 diesel options producing up to 299 horsepower, alongside plug-in hybrid variants.
Non-European markets will offer V6 petrol engines and a high-performance SQ9 variant powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 generating 599 horsepower.

Deliveries for the plug-in hybrid model in the Netherlands are scheduled to begin in early 2027.
