"There is no question that there is extensive plagiarism," said Sanders.
In a joint publication on neurodiversity, Arday and co-author Dr. Chantelle Jessica Lewis discussed accommodating minority populations in academic spaces.
"For neurodivergent people, who are often holding on to the coattails of neurotypicals, there is a need for the neuromajority population to be more accommodating and understanding in this process...
and hold on for tomorrow," said Arday.
They advocated for creative freedom among neurodiverse scholars.
"Not only do you still deserve love, you deserve for your creativity to flourish and be nurtured.
You still deserve ordinariness, even if you struggle to communicate your passions," said Arday.

A spokesperson for the University of Cambridge stated that Arday was cleared of plagiarism allegations concerning his thesis and journal publications, describing him as the victim of a campaign to undermine his credibility.
