Manchester United have completed the free transfer signing of 20-year-old goalkeeper Kit Margetson from Swansea City, the club announced.
Margetson becomes the fifth summer arrival at Old Trafford, following midfielders Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, goalkeeper Karl Darlow, and winger Tynan Thompson.

The Welsh youth international spent last season on loan at Connah's Quay Nomads, where he kept 10 clean sheets in 34 appearances and helped the side qualify for European competition in the Cymru Premier.
Goalkeeper Depth Strengthened
Margetson will provide cover behind primary goalkeeper Senne Lammens and backup Karl Darlow.
His arrival follows Andre Onana's loan return to Trabzonspor, while Radek Vitek and Altay Bayindir are expected to leave this window.
"Manchester United have agreed the signing of exciting young goalkeeper Kit Margetson, subject to registration," the club said in an official statement.
"The 20-year-old was most recently at Swansea City, a club he'd been with since under-15s."
Margetson made his debut for the Wales Under-21 national team against Belarus in March.

Meanwhile, Manchester United remain active in the midfield market after Casemiro's contract expired and Manuel Ugarte suffered a World Cup injury.
The club retains interest in Bournemouth's Alex Scott, who featured in 37 league matches last season.
However, Chelsea are leading the race after an initial £64m bid was rejected, with Bournemouth valuing Scott above £70m.
United have assessed Scott at roughly £40m due to his lack of Champions League experience and are considering alternatives including Roma's Manu Kone, Real Madrid's Aurelien Tchouameni, and Brighton's Carlos Baleba.
In attack, reports suggest United are monitoring free agent Dusan Vlahovic, who scored 10 goals for Juventus last season.

The 26-year-old Serbia international is seen as a potential short-term replacement if Joshua Zirkzee completes a loan move to Juventus.
