BJP MP Kangana Ranaut and CJP spokesperson Saurav Das exchanged sharp verbal attacks in July 2026 following student demonstrations over NEET exam irregularities.

Ranaut criticized young demonstrators on social media, calling their protests "puke inducing" and labeling female participants as "Generation gutter."

She also defended non-protesters who confronted demonstrators, stating that those who damage public property should expect retaliation.

Das Questions Ranaut's Credibility

Saurav Das responded by questioning Ranaut's seriousness as a parliamentarian, noting that even her own party members do not take her seriously.

He remarked that her comments did not seem to come from a mentally stable person and accused her of trying to capitalize on the student movement.

Das praised Gen Z for reigniting faith in democracy and said they have done more for the country than Ranaut.

Ranaut Fires Back

Ranaut retaliated by posting a screenshot of Das's interview and questioning his status as a student leader, noting he is 28 years old.

She defended her own record, stating she has been in public life for 20 years and had won two National Awards by his age.

Ranaut advised Das to learn a skill, calling him "totally useless and unemployed."

Other political figures, including CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke, dismissed Ranaut's statements, while music composer Vishal Dadlani criticized police conduct during the protests.
