However, the lack of scheduled rest days creates a need for a sixth starter to avoid overworking Roki Sasaki and Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
As a result, the Dodgers may activate Snell shortly after their current homestand, even if he remains on a limited pitch count.
According to The Athletic, Snell was initially scheduled to pitch four innings and about 60 pitches in his third rehab start before the reassignment to Ontario's series in San Jose.
