Breda police reported that emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after 3:35 AM. Despite their efforts, the victim could not be saved.

Investigation and Road Closure
Forensic investigators began a comprehensive probe at the crash site to determine the cause of the accident.
To allow safe investigation, the A27 heading toward Gorinchem was closed between the Sint Annabosch interchange and the Oosterhout-Zuid exit.
