Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the all-new GLA compact crossover, introducing both fully electric and mild-hybrid powertrains built on the Modular Architecture platform.

The redesigned model replaces the previous EQA electric SUV.

800-Volt Fast Charging and Extended Range

The electric variants feature an advanced 800-volt architecture, enabling the vehicle to regain up to 270 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes at a 320 kW fast charger.

The new platform supports an 85 kWh battery, delivering a maximum range of 657 kilometers under WLTP standards.

The crossover has grown 14.3 centimeters longer, expanding rear passenger legroom by four centimeters. It offers a 410-liter rear cargo space along with a 107-liter front trunk.

The top-tier all-wheel-drive variant boasts a maximum towing capacity of up to 2,000 kilograms.

Inside, the GLA adopts the MBUX Superscreen dashboard layout, incorporating generative AI within its virtual assistant.

The exterior features an illuminated grille with up to 172 integrated LED stars.

Initial Electric Lineup and Pricing

Mercedes-Benz will offer three electric versions initially, led by the 224-horsepower GLA 200.

The lineup also includes the long-range GLA 250+ and the dual-motor GLA 350 4MATIC producing 354 horsepower.

A smaller 71 kWh battery option and the 1.5-liter mild-hybrid gasoline variants will join the lineup in early 2027.

Orders open in late July 2026, with German prices starting at €48,600.
