The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $707 million after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

The next drawing is scheduled for Saturday night.

Wednesday evening's winning numbers were 30, 36, 40, 42, and 57, with a red Powerball of 2 and a Power Play multiplier of 2x.

A potential single winner in the upcoming drawing can choose between 30 annual installments totaling $707 million or an upfront cash payment of $309.7 million.

Selecting the lump-sum cash option triggers a mandatory 24% federal tax withholding, reducing the payout to $235.4 million.

Higher marginal tax rates up to 37% further reduce the total cash distribution to approximately $195.1 million, plus variable state income taxes.

“Monday marks the 37th drawing during this jackpot run, making it the largest Powerball prize in 2026 so far!”

said the Kansas Lottery.

The expanded lottery now includes ticket sales across 45 states, Washington D. C.

, Puerto Rico, the U. S.
