Apple's next-generation iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to launch in September 2026 with price tags up to $300 higher than current models, according to industry analysts.

The potential cost hikes stem from rising component prices, increased memory, and advanced chip manufacturing technologies, reports from International Data Corporation and Counterpoint Research suggest.

Expected Pricing and Regional Impact

Starting prices for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could reach $1,299 and $1,399, respectively.

Higher costs for dynamic random-access memory and internal storage are driving production expenses upward.

In markets like India, the top-tier 1TB model may see a price surge of up to Rs 26,000, pushing final retail figures past Rs 1,60,000 after import duties and taxes.

Hardware upgrades across the Pro lineup are expected to include Apple's new A20 chip, built on TSMC's 2nm manufacturing process.

The devices are also rumored to feature larger RAM capacity to support advanced iOS 27 AI functionality.

An upgraded 48-megapixel variable-aperture camera system, a second-generation C2 modem, and expanded battery capacity are also anticipated.

Apple is reportedly planning a dual-launch strategy, unveiling the Pro models alongside a new book-style foldable iPhone in September 2026.
