The Los Angeles Dodgers secured a 6-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Thursday night in Los Angeles, thanks to home runs from Dalton Rushing and Teoscar Hernández.
Rushing launched a three-run homer in the fourth inning, while Hernández added a solo shot in the sixth, helping the Dodgers take the series two games to one.

Mookie Betts opened the scoring with a two-run double in the first inning, giving the Dodgers an early 2-0 lead.
In the fourth, Kyle Tucker walked and Hernández singled to set up Rushing's 400-foot blast, extending the lead to 5-0.
Mariners starter Bryan Woo allowed five runs and five hits over five innings, striking out eight. He has now surrendered nine home runs on the road this season.
Seattle's Roki Sasaki pitched well through five innings, allowing only two hits, but gave up two runs in the sixth, including a bases-loaded walk to Cal Raleigh.
Reliever Jack Dreyer then struck out pinch-hitter Rob Refsnyder and got Weston Wilson to ground out, with Freddie Freeman tagging Wilson after a throwing error by Mookie Betts.

Sasaki finished with seven strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings, lowering his ERA to 4.64, his best since early June.
Hernández hit his solo homer off reliever Alex Hoppe with two outs in the sixth inning.
The Mariners scored their other run on an RBI double by Randy Arozarena.
Dodgers leadoff hitter Tommy Edman went 0 for 3 with a walk and a strikeout. Shohei Ohtani did not play to rest his sore left knee.

The Dodgers have yet to name a starter for Friday's series opener against the Boston Red Sox, who will start left-hander Ranger Suarez (4-3, 3.02 ERA).
