Amazon Prime Video has announced its complete streaming schedule for August 2026, offering subscribers a diverse mix of original series, major films, and live sports events.
The month’s highlights include the return of the action hit Reacher for its fourth season on August 12, along with the premiere of new dramas and a documentary on tennis star Novak Djokovic.

Original Series and Documentaries
Reacher Season 4 adapts Lee Child’s novel Gone Tomorrow, following Jack Reacher into a high-stakes conspiracy after a tense subway encounter in New York City.
The series has already been renewed for a fifth season.
On August 5, the coming-of-age drama Sterling Point debuts, starring Ella Rubin as a New York teen who unexpectedly inherits an island in Canada.
Unscripted fans can watch The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls starting August 9, where cast members face wilderness survival challenges.

Film Lineup
Sports documentary Novak Djokovic: The Wolf in Winter arrives on August 20, followed by romantic drama The Last Sunrise on August 26.
From August 1, the library adds licensed titles including Challengers, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Small Soldiers, Pulp Fiction, and four Robocop films.

Prime Video will air WNBA and NWSL matchups throughout August, plus select New York Yankees baseball games.
