Willem II will host its annual Koningsdag fan event on August 1, 2026.
The day includes the grand reopening of the renovated Fanshop and a friendly match against Greek cup winner OFI Crete at the Koning Willem II stadion.

The club is celebrating its 130th anniversary. The first 130 paying customers will receive free goodie bags containing a limited edition Fanshop emblem.
One bag includes a golden voucher for a travel package to AC Milan, AS Roma, or Manchester City.
Special Koningsdag bags will be available for €10, along with new merchandise items.
Fan Activities and Squad Presentation
Supporters can gather at parking lot P1 in front of the main entrance for free activities, food trucks, and flag painting hosted by Tilburg Tifosi.
A total of 200 flags will be available for fans.
Additional stalls will be set up by Stichting KingZine, Supportersclub Willem II, and KingSide Clothing.
The squad presentation is scheduled for 12:30 PM, followed by an autograph session after the match.

No Contract for Misidjan
Meanwhile, the club has decided against offering a contract to winger Virgil Misidjan. This comes just one week before the start of the Eredivisie season.
Misidjan, a free agent after leaving NEC, trained with Tilburg during the preseason and participated in multiple friendly matches.
He was keeping open the option for a return.
Head coach John Stegeman expressed caution regarding Misidjan's potential signing following a friendly loss to Quick Boys.
"The Virgil I know is a reinforcement for us," said Stegeman. "But we also have comparison material in that position.
Maybe we will find a better player, that is possible."

The newly promoted side opted to retain roster flexibility, leaving Misidjan out of the final preseason squad against OFI Crete as he searches for a new club.
