The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the penultimate day of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on August 1, 2026.
They joined spectators to watch multiple athletic events and meet with competing athletes.

Known officially in Scotland as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the royal couple spent time with Team Wales competitors and their families.
The visit was reported by ITV News and royal correspondents.
During the event, they engaged with young competitors supported by SportsAid, a sports charity Catherine has served as patron for since 2013.
They also met participants in the Team England Futures program.
Pre-Games Engagement
Prior to the sporting event, William met with several Team Wales athletes during a visit to the London Welsh School in Hanwell.

Among them were lawn and indoor bowler Ross Owen, blind para bowler Julie Thomas, and weightlifters Madaline Connelly and Catrin Haf Jones.
The Glasgow visit follows appearances by other senior royals earlier in the tournament, including the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Royal Anne.
The public appearance comes as fresh YouGov data indicates stable approval ratings for the monarchy.
Prince William holds a 76 percent favorability rating, while Princess Catherine stands at 74 percent.

According to the latest survey, King Charles III achieved his highest approval rating to date, with 68 percent of Britons saying he is doing a good job on the throne.
