Ford's overall sales in the United States fell 10.2 percent in July compared to the same month last year.
The decline was particularly sharp for its electric and hybrid vehicles.

Sales of Ford's electrified vehicles dropped 40.3 percent to 16,151 units last month, down from 27,042 in July 2025.
This includes 2,065 EVs, a decline of 74.9 percent, and 14,086 hybrids, down 25.1 percent.
Year-to-Date Performance
Through the first half of the year, Ford sold only 18,671 EVs in the US, a 60.5 percent drop.
Hybrid sales also fell 20.5 percent to 108,408 vehicles.
The Mustang Mach-E saw just 1,863 units sold in July, down 64.9 percent year-over-year.
Year-to-date, its sales are down 50.2 percent to 13,495 units.
The F-150 Lightning, which ended production last December, sold only 141 units in July, a 95 percent decline.

Year-to-date, 4,622 have been sold, down 70.9 percent.
Demand for the electric E-Transit has also collapsed.
Only 61 were sold in July, a 32.2 percent drop, and just 554 have been sold this year, down 87 percent.
Other Models and Lincoln
Several other Ford models are struggling.
The Escape is down 71.5 percent year-to-date to 26,736 units after production ended late last year.
Expedition sales fell 22.9 percent in July, while Ranger dropped 2.5 percent.
The Lincoln brand also suffered, with year-to-date sales down 12.6 percent to 55,099 units.

The Corsair saw a 46.2 percent drop, with just 8,148 units sold this year.
