The next BMW 5-Series Touring has been caught on camera with mild styling tweaks and an overhauled interior featuring Neue Klasse technology.
Fresh spy shots show the wagon in the final stages of development, bringing the executive model's mid-lifecycle update closer to reality.

Exterior Updates
The prototype, spotted in Germany, wears a similar look to previous sightings, but the grille might be a camouflage add-on rather than the real production piece.
The reshaped headlights are visible, enhancing the shark-nose effect alongside a sportier front bumper.
The profile is largely carried over, though new colors and wheel designs are possible.
At the back, new LED graphics on the taillights stand out, while the bumper may get redesigned trim.
Interior and Tech
Inside, the cabin borrows tech from the Neue Klasse i3, iX3, and X5.

The current digital cockpit makes way for the new Panoramic iDrive, paired with a large infotainment touchscreen, an optional passenger display, and a 3D head-up display.
Under the skin, the 5-Series will likely retain CLAR underpinnings with mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric powertrain options.
The flagship M5 is also scheduled for the update and will likely be the only Touring variant in the US market.
Production might commence at the Dingolfing plant in Germany in mid-2027, with a public debut expected early next year.
