Ram is betting that truck buyers will pay six figures for a sporty V8 pickup.
The new Rumble Bee lineup, with prices reaching over $100,000, aims to tap into an “untapped” market.
Sean Hogan, chairman of the Stellantis dealer council, told Autonews that the Rumble Bee is “going to draw in a whole new set of buyers that would not normally be shopping for a pickup.”
Josh Towbin, owner of Towbin Dodge-Ram near Las Vegas, says customers are excited about the new model and have accepted the price.
Pricing and Performance
The base Ram 1500 Rumble Bee starts at $62,790, featuring a 5.7-liter V8 with 395 hp.
The Rumble Bee 392, with a 6.4-liter V8 producing 470 hp, costs $72,790.
The Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack is priced at $82,790, while the flagship Rumble Bee SRT tops out at $97,790.
The SRT is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 delivering 777 hp.
Automotive analyst Sam Fiorani notes that buyers already accept high prices for trucks like Ford Raptors and TRX models.
He believes the Rumble Bee, especially the SRT, will generate buzz both from its exhaust and media attention.

Ram has already announced Direct Connection upgrades for the Rumble Bee before customer deliveries begin.
Supercharger kits for the 5.7-liter and 6.4-liter models boost power to over 600 hp and 700 hp, respectively, for $10,995.
The flagship Rumble Bee SRT can be upgraded to more than 900 hp. Suspension and exhaust upgrades are also available.
