A new study reveals that heated seats are the most-wanted feature in new cars, beating out high-tech options like self-driving systems.
AutoPacific surveyed more than 19,000 licensed drivers in the US who plan to buy a new vehicle within the next three years.

The study found that 47 percent of respondents want heated seats, making it the top feature on their list.
This year, 45 percent of buyers want front and rear parking sensors, which were among the most in-demand features last year.
Other popular features include rearward automatic emergency braking (44 percent), a power front driver's seat (43 percent), and lane change assist (43 percent).
Night vision, adaptive cruise control with active lane centering and stop-and-go, and other features also scored 43 percent.
Auto Park and wireless charging pads were each desired by 41 percent, while 40 percent want a dash camera.

Must-Have Features and Self-Driving Attitudes
The study also identified the top 10 must-have features among buyers who want them.
All-wheel drive led with 41 percent calling it a must-have, and 39 percent saying it's highly desirable.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were a must-have for 37 percent, while a power front passenger seat was essential for 36 percent.
Blind spot cameras were a must-have for 33 percent of respondents.
Regarding autonomous driving, 56 percent trust advanced safety systems that can automatically prevent accidents.

Additionally, 62 percent feel comfortable letting a vehicle perform tasks like lane centering and parallel parking.
