That was a huge amount in 2012 for a car from a brand without supercar credentials, even if the tech was better than anything Lamborghini offered at the time.
Now that figure looks almost quaint.
An orange US-market Nürburgring Package LFA with roughly twice the mileage sold for around $1.9 million in 2023, making it plausible this virtually untouched example could challenge the $2 million mark.
Catch It At Monterey
Unlike a traditional auction, this LFA is offered through Broad Arrow's private sales division, so there's no bidding war.
One very wealthy collector simply has to decide how much the ultimate Lexus is worth.
If the LFA isn't exclusive enough, Broad Arrow is also marketing a 2021 Marc Philipp Gemballa MARSIEN through its private sales program.
