American sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson posted a season-best 10.77 seconds in the 100 meters at the Star Athletics Sprint Series in Florida on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
The time is her fastest over the distance in two years, according to reports.
Richardson finished well ahead of runner-up Shaunae Miller-Uibo, who crossed in 11.05 seconds. Melicia Mouzzon took third with 11.14 seconds.
Fastest Since 2022 Trials
The 10.77 clocking matches the time Richardson ran to win the 2022 U. S.
Olympic Trials.
It is also the second-fastest time of the 2026 season, behind only the 10.63 national record set by Adaejah Hodge last weekend at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
This performance marks a rebound after a difficult 2025 season, during which Richardson broke 11 seconds only once.
Her best that year was 10.94 seconds in the women's 100m final at the World Athletics Championships, where she placed fifth.
Richardson entered the Florida meet with momentum after winning the 100m at the LA Grand Prix one week earlier.
She finished that race in 10.99 seconds, ahead of Kayla White and Tamari Davis.
