Real Madrid has finalized the transfer of 21-year-old midfielder Nico Paz to Italian club Como for 60 million euros.
The deal was completed on June 27, 2026.

Real Madrid initially reacquired the player from Como for 9 million euros before immediately completing the larger 60 million euro sale.

The transfer fee makes Paz the fifth highest sale in Real Madrid's history. It surpasses the 47 million euro fee paid by Arsenal for Mesut Özil in 2014.
The figure ranks just below Alvaro Morata, who generated 66 million euros during his 2017 transfer to Chelsea.
Casemiro joined Manchester United for 70 million euros.
Angel Di Maria remains the second largest sale for the club after moving to Manchester United for 76 million euros.
