Rock Paper Shotgun reported that a helpful starting word for the June 26 puzzle was "TEACH." It turned four letters yellow for players trying to preserve their win streaks.
Saturday Puzzle: SCOOP
The daily puzzle shifted on Saturday, June 27, to the word "SCOOP."
It features a double letter and originates from a Middle Dutch root meaning to shovel or dig, as reported by Forbes contributor Erik Kain.

According to Forbes, the Wordle Bot analyzed the June 27 puzzle using "SLATE" as an opening word.
Kain utilized "CRATE" to narrow the puzzle down to 63 remaining options before solving it in four guesses.
