Television host Helene Hendriks interrupted a live broadcast of De Oranjezomer on Sunday night after two audience members repeatedly stood up and caused disruptions in the studio.
The presenter paused the program to confront the men directly as their behavior began to interfere with the live production.
"I think it's nice that you're in the studio, but we are making live television," said Hendriks, visibly annoyed by the disturbance.
When the disruptive behavior persisted shortly after her initial remark, Hendriks issued a stronger warning.
"I have now seen people walking away twice. That's fine, but do it quietly.
I'm done with it now, otherwise just move," she added.
Following the explicit warning, the two men loudly apologized to the presenter and chose to exit the studio premises, restoring order to the live broadcast.
Support from Analyst and Reporter
Media analyst Victor Vlam supported the decision to remove the guests during a subsequent segment of the show.
"I find it really disrespectful and I'm glad they're gone," said Vlam, noting that the men had also behaved rudely toward studio security personnel.
Political reporter Thomas van Groningen also commented on the situation, revealing he had spoken and sung with the guests prior to the broadcast.
Van Groningen jokingly referred to the individuals as "coke sniffers," though Hendriks immediately clarified that the remark played no role in the decision to eject them.
