Podcast host Kylie Kelce congratulated her brother-in-law Travis Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift following their July 3 wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York.
During the July 23 episode of her podcast, Not Gonna Lie, the 34-year-old field hockey coach and wife of former NFL player Jason Kelce shared her joy for the couple.
"I would like to say congratulations to Tay and Trav. It was absolutely magical," Kelce said on her podcast.
"I'm so happy for them."
Kelce emphasized that the formal union was a natural progression for the couple, noting that Swift had long been integrated into their family dynamic prior to the ceremony.
"Because Taylor's been part of the family now for quite some time," Kelce said.
While declining to disclose granular details regarding the private celebration, Kelce directed interested fans to seek future updates directly from the newlyweds themselves.
"Anything else, you can check in with Taylor and Travis about. Any of the details that they want to share, they can share," Kelce said.
"Otherwise, it was intimate, and incredible, and full of love both for each other and for everybody's else love for them."
During the episode, Kelce also criticized Us Weekly for publishing an excerpt of a private conversation she had with fans at a recent event regarding potential wedding photos.
"And I said, 'Well it just happened, you gotta give them some time to bask in it. They're in the honeymoon time,'" Kelce said.
She expressed frustration that the publication secretly recorded and released the interaction under headlines claiming she was discussing the wedding publicly.
"Don't eavesdrop on my conversations," Kelce said.
She encouraged listeners to rely solely on her official platform for authentic statements rather than third-party reports.
"If you want to hear something from me, you can come right here," Kelce said. "Straight from the horse's mouth."
The media outlet Us Weekly did not immediately respond to TODAY. com's request for comment regarding the incident.
Kelce's sentiments mirrored those of the groom's mother, Donna Kelce, who briefly spoke about the event during the Macy's fireworks show on July 4.
"Say a heck of a lot, except it was magical, man," Donna Kelce said of the nuptials.
