Camryn Manheim turned heads with a noticeably slimmer figure during a public appearance in New York City on July 22.
The 65-year-old actress attended the opening night of Rosie O'Donnell's Broadway show, Common Knowledge.
She walked the red carpet in a patterned blouse, jeans, glasses, and beaded jewelry, posing alongside friends Ricki Lake and Julie Halston.
The former Law & Order star had previously showcased her weight loss in a black jumpsuit at the Human Rights Campaign Dinner in March and a black pantsuit at a May luncheon with Monica Lewinsky.
Fans on social media took notice of her new look, but Manheim has not publicly addressed the details of her transformation.
The actress has long been an advocate for body diversity, having starred in the 1994 one-woman show Wake Up, I'm Fat and released a memoir of the same name in 1999.
She rose to fame as defense attorney Ellenor Frutt on The Practice, winning an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
In her acceptance speech, she famously dedicated the award to "all the fat girls."
Manheim later clarified her stance, saying, "My platform is not fat acceptance, it's self-acceptance. My weight is being celebrated."
She also discussed the challenges she faced in Hollywood, noting that roles often revolved around her weight.
"For the longest time, if there was a part, it almost always had to be about weight," she said.
Despite the barriers, she focused on playing characters defined by substance.
"I just play roles that have nothing to do with my size, but with my power and spirit," Manheim explained.
She reflected on the exhausting nature of advocating for representation, saying, "It felt like a constant battle of teaching people and making them comfortable with it."
Manheim expressed gratitude for younger actresses who are now championing body diversity. "I'm so thankful for the younger actresses changing things in the industry," she said.
She noted their impact on younger generations: "Now they can feel that they're being represented in popular culture."
Manheim attended the event to support her close friend Rosie O'Donnell, who has been open about her own weight loss journey using the medication Mounjaro.
O'Donnell called it a "miracle drug" that "saved her life."
