Alfa Romeo has taken the wraps off a singular interpretation of its 33 Stradale, named Perla Nera. The car wears matte carbon fiber bodywork and black alloy wheels.
It was assembled by Bottegafuoriserie, the personalization division of Alfa Romeo and Maserati.
Cristiano Fiorio, the division's General Manager, stated that every detail was developed together with its owner.
The owner remains unnamed.
Alfa Romeo describes the person as a passionate Alfa Romeo collector and profound connoisseur of the automotive world.
That collector also selected and registered the Perla Nera moniker.
Matte Carbon and Alcantara Inside and Out
The exterior is defined by a matte black finish over exposed carbon fiber. Black three-spoke wheels and matching brake calipers complete the look.
Alfa Romeo says the carbon fiber was laid by hand within the mould. This ensures the weave follows the contours of the car.
The cabin carries the same dark theme. Exposed carbon fiber is combined with full Alcantara upholstery.
A pair of bespoke sports seats was redesigned for the owner's physique. The fitting was done through dedicated sessions and consultations to meet comfort and performance requirements.
Custom details include a cannelloni pattern on the door cards and door sills. Quadrifoglio and Autodelta symbols appear, along with the owner's initials on the Alfa rotary selector.
The Perla Nera logo is placed in several spots around the cabin.
It appears on the storage compartment mounted on the rear wall, which also features 03/33 numbering.
The same number can be found on a custom luggage set wrapped in Alcantara.
Underneath, the mid-engined supercar shares its carbon fiber monocoque and H-frame aluminum chassis with the Maserati MC20 and the facelifted MCPura.
It also uses the same twin-turbo V6 engine, rated at 620 hp. Power goes to the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
At the official presentation in August 2023, Alfa Romeo mentioned a fully electric powertrain option with 750 hp.
However, no examples are known to have been specified as EVs, especially after Stellantis cancelled the Maserati MC20 Folgore.
All 33 examples of the 33 Stradale have been spoken for. The starting price was over $2 million.
The latest one-off will be exhibited at the Museo Alfa Romeo in Arese until October 18. After that, it will be delivered to its owner.
