Alfa Romeo has finally revealed the name of its upcoming concept: Cuorerosso.
The Italian automaker confirmed the name alongside a new teaser image, roughly two weeks before the car's debut in Paris.
Cuorerosso translates to "Red Heart."
According to Alfa Romeo, the name combines red, representing passion and the brand's imagination, with the heart, symbolizing the emotional bond between its cars and drivers.
The company describes the concept as a "declaration of intent" for a car designed first and foremost to excite.
It is meant to represent the brand's future and reaffirm Alfa Romeo's commitment to building cars people want to drive.
What Alfa Romeo Has Said So Far
Earlier this month, Alfa Romeo called the then-unnamed model a "manifesto" for its future. It said the concept draws inspiration from Italy, sportiness, and the color red.
The automaker also stated the car was created for people who still love driving. It added that the concept would demonstrate the "full creative strength" of the brand.
However, key details remain undisclosed. There is currently no word on the powertrain, platform, dimensions, or performance.
Alfa Romeo has not confirmed exactly what kind of car the Cuorerosso is. Still, the teasers do not appear to be laying the groundwork for another crossover.
Previous footage showed flashes of low, sculpted red bodywork.
Another teaser included potential names such as Battito, Biscione, and Passione, with Cuorerosso also appearing in that social media post.
Those words suggest the concept is more than a standalone show car. It may signal a broader direction for the entire brand.
For now, Alfa Romeo appears content to discuss hearts, passion, instinct, and emotion while keeping the actual car hidden.

The Cuorerosso will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show on October 12 at 10:55 a.
