The BBC has confirmed the lineup for the fourth season of Celebrity Race Across The World, which will air on BBC One and iPlayer later this year.

The new season will feature a 7,500-kilometer journey starting in Kuching, Malaysia, and ending in Melbourne, Australia.

The celebrity pairs include singer Sam Ryder with his best friend and tour manager Kaz, and musician Ella Eyre with her childhood friend Nana.

Influencer Princess Andre will compete with her brother Junior, while sports presenter Jeff Stelling teams up with his son Matt.

Contestants will navigate the jungles of Borneo across three countries and two continents without using mobile phones or taking flights.

This marks the first time the franchise has traversed the region.

A First for the Franchise

Jasmyn McGuile, Commissioning Editor at BBC Factual Entertainment and Events, said: "Audiences have been asking when the Race might reach Australia, so we are delighted that they will be able to experience this unique journey for the first time in Celebrity Race Across The World."

Production will launch the celebrity teams directly into an isolated rainforest setting at the start of the course.

McGuile added: "With an adventurous start in Borneo's Sarawak rainforest, another series first, it makes for an unmissable opener for this year’s celebrity teams."

The announcement follows a social media campaign by BBC iPlayer featuring obscured photos of the contestants.

The route follows the late 2025 series won by Roman Kemp and his sister Harleymoon Kemp, who completed a course from Mexico to Colombia.
