Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark will serve as the ESPN College GameDay guest picker in Iowa City for the matchup between No. 14 Iowa and No. 5 Ohio State.
The appearance marks a return to her alma mater following the conclusion of her professional basketball season.
Clark built her college legacy with the Iowa Hawkeyes, leading the program to consecutive national championship game appearances.
She finished her collegiate career as the all-time Division I scoring leader across men and women with 3,951 points.
Her resume also includes three first-team Associated Press All-American honors and two consensus national player of the year awards from 2022 to 2024.
Fever Season and GameDay Return
Clark recently completed her third season with the Indiana Fever, who posted a 28-16 record.
The team was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the defending league champion Las Vegas Aces.
During the season, Clark averaged 22.3 points and 8.3 assists per game, ranking third in scoring and second in assists across the league.
ESPN College GameDay returns to Iowa City for the first time since 2006, when top-ranked Ohio State secured a 38-17 victory over Iowa.
The undefeated 4-0 Hawkeyes enter the game following a 20-19 road win against Michigan, sealed by a game-ending 16-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Hank Brown to receiver Reece Vander Zee.
Clark and the panel will announce their selections near the end of the broadcast before kickoff at Kinnick Stadium at 3:30 p.
m. ET.
