The hosts chased down a target of 186 runs with seven balls remaining.

Captain Bryony Smith led the run chase with 71 runs off 35 deliveries. She found form after struggling in the One-Day Cup earlier this season.
Alice Davidson-Richards supported with an unbeaten 47 runs, sealing the win with a six. Opening batter Kira Chathli also contributed before being caught off Grace Potts.
Lancashire Thunder posted 185-7 after being put in to bat. Opener Eve Jones top-scored with 56 runs from 31 balls, reaching her half-century in 26 deliveries.
Former Australia captain Meg Lanning made her debut for Lancashire, scoring a quickfire 40 from 22 balls. Darcey Carter added 35 in an opening partnership of 97 runs.

Surrey's bowling attack restricted Lancashire despite a fast start that saw 22 runs from the first over.
Ryana MacDonald-Gay returned from a back injury and conceded 23 runs without taking a wicket.
The hosts excelled in the field with two run-outs, including a direct hit by Paige Scholfield from extra cover to dismiss Seren Smale.
Potts claimed the wicket of Smith, who was dropped on 42.

In other opening-day matches, Essex beat Warwickshire Bears by seven wickets, The Blaze defeated Yorkshire by four wickets, and Somerset tied with Hampshire Hawks.
