Starting Lineup Set Without Qualifying

Because qualifying was canceled, NASCAR set the starting lineup using its performance metric. Corey Day will start from the pole position in the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet.

Day was tapped to pilot the No. 7 truck because veteran driver Kyle Busch had originally been scheduled to drive the vehicle at Charlotte.

Busch passed away suddenly on May 21, 2026.

Busch won the previous Truck Series race at Dover Motor Speedway on May 15.

Pre-race introductions included a moment of silence honoring Busch, and Charlotte Motor Speedway officials added a dedicated tribute in the tri-oval infield grass.
