World Title Rematch Headlines

Reigning AEW World Champion Darby Allin defends his title against Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) in a Title vs. Hair match.

Allin previously defeated MJF in Seattle, prompting the challenger to put his hair on the line for a rematch.

Kris Statlander, a West Islip native, competes in the AEW Women's World Championship match. She challenges champion Thekla alongside Jamie Hayter and Hikaru Shida in a four-way bout.

"Long Island has taken over AEW quite a bit," said Statlander, a former AEW world champion. She emphasized regional pride among local performers on the card.

"It's such a great thing, because I feel like it's not expected to be the place that produces wrestlers like, Florida or Chicago even or Canada," Statlander said.

"There's certain places that get so much recognition … And it's nice that Long Island has kind of been put on the map in that way."

The event also features the return of the Stadium Stampede match after nearly three years.
