Collins Scores Early Winner

Nathan Collins scored the only goal of the match in the fifth minute.

He headed home a cross from an inswinging free-kick delivered by Jack Moylan.

Moylan was later sent off just before half-time by referee Jamie Robinson following a tackle on Jassim Gaber, reducing Ireland to 10 men.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, the home side maintained their defensive organization to seal the win.

Umeh's Dream Debut

Umeh entered the match as a substitute in the 75th minute alongside fellow debutant Corrie Ndaba.

Tottenham Hotspur teenager Mason Melia made a brief cameo appearance in the final minute of normal time.

Reflecting on his immediate impact and interaction with the Dublin crowd, Umeh expressed his excitement during his post-match media duties with RTÉ Sport reporter Tony O'Donoghue.

"It was something special to be honest," said Umeh.

The young Corkman, who developed his early skills at Ringmahon Rangers before moving to Lisbon, added that the backing of the home spectators provided an incredible boost during his first moments on the pitch.

"Coming onto the pitch I was just excited. I'm still out of breath, I was giving it my all," said Umeh.

The winger explained that his performance allowed him to demonstrate his technical attributes and confidence in taking on opposition defenders.
