Senesi chose Spurs despite interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid.
Part of Squad Overhaul Under De Zerbi
The transfer is a key part of a squad rebuild under manager Roberto De Zerbi, who is looking to strengthen the team after securing Premier League safety with a narrow 1-0 win over Everton.
"We close one page and we open another page today," De Zerbi said.
"We have no time. We have to organise the next season, we have to begin a stronger team."
De Zerbi added that arriving during a difficult period ultimately made the squad stronger.
"I came in a difficult moment and I think it made us stronger," he said.
"We can become better for sure - as a coach, as players, as a club, and we cannot make the same mistakes."
Senesi started 37 league matches and recorded five assists during the 2025-26 season, helping Bournemouth finish sixth and qualify for Europe for the first time in their history.
He ranked second in the Premier League for blocks and clearances.
