Philadelphia Eagles left tackle and Super Bowl champion Jordan Mailata and his wife, Niki, have launched the Mailata Family Foundation, a new nonprofit dedicated to supporting middle and high school students in achieving their ambitions.
The foundation's mission is rooted in expanding access for young people who may not otherwise have it. "Our motto for the foundation is that talent is everywhere.

Opportunity is not. So our hope is to help provide more opportunity," said Niki Mailata, co-founder.
Focus on Diverse Interests
The foundation will focus on students in grades 8 through 11, supporting a wide range of interests beyond athletics.
"It's not just about sports.
If you want to go after singing and dance, if you want to be a lawyer and go after your further education, culinary school and be a chef, these are the things that we want to see we want to hear about," Jordan Mailata explained.
To kick off the launch, the Mailatas are hosting a fundraiser concert on Thursday, June 11, at Stateside!
