Ajax faces a significant financial setback as the market value of winger Mika Godts has dropped by 3 million euros.
The decline follows his exclusion from the Belgium national team squad for the World Cup.

Pressure on Ajax to Perform
Technical director Jordi Cruijff emphasized the intense pressure surrounding the club's performance. "There are no transition years here.
Next season we must become champions, otherwise I have failed," he said on ESPN's Goedemorgen Eredivisie.
The club must navigate these expectations with constrained financial resources.
Cruijff noted that Ajax needs to be inventive in the transfer market, targeting players with expiring contracts or considering loans.
According to Algemeen Dagblad, Ajax has placed 15 players on the transfer list to generate funds. Only youngsters Youri Baas and Mika Godts are protected assets.

Transfer journalist Mounir Boualin confirmed the club intends to build around these two talents, though a massive bid for Godts was anticipated this summer.
Data from FootballTransfers shows that European clubs like Arsenal, FC Barcelona, and Bayern Munich previously monitored the 20-year-old Belgian left winger before his valuation dropped.
Godts had reached a peak estimated transfer value of 25.6 million euros earlier this season. His current value has decreased to 22.4 million euros.
Compounding the valuation drop, Ajax will retain only 55 percent of any final transfer fee for Godts.
