Phil Mickelson has reportedly lost his membership at The Farms Golf Club in San Diego following an alleged incident involving a female employee.
Golf Digest first reported the news, citing multiple sources who said the 55-year-old golfer was accused of “nonconsensual and inappropriate physical contact” before a round of golf in the spring.

According to the report, Mickelson was confronted about the incident during the round and subsequently left the property.
A spokesperson for Mickelson said, “Any misunderstanding has been cleared up.”
The spokesperson added that Mickelson continues to attend to a family health matter and is uncertain when he will return to professional golf.
Mickelson has been absent from most of this season on the LIV tour due to family issues.
He also skipped the Masters in April and the US PGA Championship in May.

The Farms Golf Club released a statement to Golf Digest saying it is committed to a safe and respectful environment.
The club said it conducted a thorough independent investigation and took decisive action, adding that the individual is no longer a member.
Attorney Tom Clare, representing Mickelson, provided a statement to Golf Digest: “There is a great deal of misinformation circulating...
he has retained defamation counsel and is determined to hold accountable any publication or individual trafficking in speculation or false rumors.”
Ongoing uncertainty about LIV's future, including the potential loss of Saudi Arabian funding, adds to questions about Mickelson's career.
