BYD has unveiled the Great Han, a new flagship sedan in its Dynasty series that boasts remarkable power figures.
The dual-motor all-wheel-drive version produces 764 hp (570 kW), exceeding the 740 hp of a McLaren 750S.

However, the Great Han weighs 5,522 lbs (2,505 kg), so it won't match the supercar in real-world performance.
The point, rather, is to showcase the extreme output levels achievable by Chinese EVs.
Range and Powertrain Options
The base rear-wheel-drive Great Han uses a single 496 hp (370 kW) motor and achieves a claimed range of 626 miles (1,008 km) per charge.
The dual-motor version adds a 268 hp (200 kW) front motor for a combined 764 hp, with a range of 547 miles (880 km).
BYD also offers a plug-in hybrid variant.
It pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 154 hp (115 kW) with a 268 hp (200 kW) electric motor.

A large 54.4 kWh battery provides an all-electric range of 230 miles (370 km).
All versions are expected to use BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and support 1,500 kW fast charging.
Visually, the Great Han resembles the smaller Han but features a sleeker design.
It measures 206.9 inches (5,256 mm) long, 78.7 inches (1,999 mm) wide, and sits 59.4 inches (1,510 mm) tall with a 123.2-inch (3,130 mm) wheelbase.
The front end is highlighted by sleek LED headlights and a sculpted bumper.
