Ajax is planning to loan out 20-year-old striker Don-Angelo Konadu to Fortuna Sittard for the upcoming season.
The move is intended to give Konadu regular playing time and professional experience.
Fortuna Sittard is in urgent need of forwards after losing Paul Gladon and Kaj Sierhuis.
Manager Danny Buijs currently has no recognized striker in his squad.
According to SciSports' Career Advice Tool, Konadu has a Club Fit rating of 76 with Fortuna Sittard, indicating a highly suitable environment for his development.
However, SciSports notes that the team's playing style could be a potential obstacle.
Gladon, 34, left on a free transfer to NAC Breda to help with their promotion push.
Sierhuis, 28, remains a free agent and is attracting interest from FC Utrecht, FC Twente, NEC, and Greek side Iraklis FC.
Data from FootballTransfers shows Konadu currently has a Skill-rating of 50.5, with a potential of 65.0.
To facilitate the move, Ajax has listed the striker on TransferRoom to attract interested clubs.
