Major League Cricket has announced a broadcasting agreement with Sky Sports to air the tournament's fourth season live across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The 2026 campaign begins on Thursday, June 18, featuring 34 matches at venues including Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, the Oakland Coliseum, and the newly debuting LA Knight Riders Cricket Ground in California.

Sky Sports will showcase the six-team competition, which features international players such as Steve Smith, Ravi Ashwin, and Finn Allen.

"Major League Cricket has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting emerging competitions in the global cricket calendar," said Bryan Henderson MBE, Sky Sports Director of Cricket.

The partnership aims to expand the audience for American Twenty20 cricket internationally.

"We are pleased to bring the 2026 season to fans and showcase the continued growth of T20 cricket in the United States," Henderson added.

The league previously concluded its domestic player draft in March, where six franchises selected a total of 17 players.

The Los Angeles Knight Riders selected bowler Carmi Le Roux as the first overall pick to bolster a lineup that finished last in 2025 with only two victories.

Other key selections included international all-rounder Raymon Reifer joining the Seattle Orcas, while former MI New York opener Aakarshit Gomel signed with the San Francisco Unicorns.

Additional roster changes saw Amshi de Silva and Abhimanyu Lamba join the Texas Super Kings, Faisal Khan Ahmadzai join MI New York, and both Zia Ul-Haq and Mohammad Ilyas move to the San Francisco Unicorns.
