The Brussels-based team agreed to a deal worth approximately €3 million to fill a critical defensive vacancy, as reported by Het Nieuwsblad.

Biancone's Return to Belgium

The 26-year-old center-back chose Anderlecht despite competing transfer interest from French vice-champions RC Lens.

This move marks a return to Belgium for Biancone, who previously spent two seasons on loan at Cercle Brugge from AS Monaco between 2019 and 2021.

Following his initial stint in the Jupiler Pro League, Biancone transferred to Troyes before securing a €10 million move to English Premier League club Nottingham Forest.

He subsequently joined Greek powerhouse Olympiakos, where he made 64 appearances over the last three seasons.

The acquisition represents the first incoming transfer activity for Anderlecht this summer under Sibierski's sporting management.

Prior to this agreement, the club's offseason business remained limited to the sale of Keisuke Goto to Freiburg, alongside the departure of loaned players and those reaching the end of their contracts.
