Miami sends Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, three first-round draft picks, a first-round pick swap, and a second-round pick to Milwaukee.

The trade will be officially completed on July 6 when the new league year opens, as reported by sportsnet.

The move follows a public dispute between Antetokounmpo and the Bucks front office after a left knee hyperextension limited him to a career-low 36 games last season.

Milwaukee shut him down against his wishes.

"I'm healthy," Antetokounmpo said. "You know who you're dealing with.

So, for somebody to come and tell me to not play or to not compete, it's like a slap in my face."

The package sent to Milwaukee centers on Herro, a Milwaukee area native who averaged 20.5 points in 33 games during an injury-plagued 2025-26 season, according to NBC Sports and CBS Sports.

The draft capital includes the No. 13 pick in Tuesday's NBA Draft, unprotected first-round picks in 2031 and 2033, a 2030 pick swap, and a 2033 second-round pick.

Charania noted that the Boston Celtics also pursued the superstar, offering a trade package featuring Jaylen Brown and two first-round selections before Miami secured the agreement.

NBA insider Marc Stein reported on the All NBA podcast that the Los Angeles Lakers were not part of the trade discussions despite external speculation regarding a multi-team deal.

"I have to be honest, based on what I've heard. I haven't heard that," Stein said.

"I know there was all kinds of speculation yesterday—deal is closed, deal is happening tonight—but I have not heard that the Lakers would be part of a Giannis multi-team construction."
