Feyenoord has completed the signing of Spanish striker Ignacio 'Nacho' Ferri from Belgian club KVC Westerlo. The Rotterdam-based club announced the move on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

The 21-year-old forward has agreed to a contract running until mid-2030. Feyenoord reportedly paid between €8 million and €10 million for the 1.92-meter-tall striker.

Ferri's transfer delivers a significant profit to Westerlo, which had purchased him for roughly €1.5 million from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Impressive Season at Westerlo

Last season, Ferri recorded 11 goals and four assists across 37 official matches for KVC Westerlo.

He also achieved a 64 percent aerial duel success rate, the highest in the Belgian Pro League regular season among players winning at least 100 aerial battles.

Ferri expressed his excitement about the move on the official club website. "I look forward to playing for Feyenoord very much," he said.

"I learned a lot in Belgium over the past two years, and I feel that it is now time to take the step to a higher level, to a big club like Feyenoord.

From 't Kuipje in Westerlo to De Kuip in Rotterdam: it feels like the perfect step."

Ferri also highlighted the club's upcoming Champions League campaign.

"I know Feyenoord is a club with a rich history, but above all with a lot of ambition toward the future.

Moreover, we are playing in the Champions League next season. That is not only something for me to look forward to.

That will apply to all of us."

Ferri previously debuted for Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt at age 18 in September 2023.

He came through the youth academies of Ontinyent CF and UD Alzira before a loan spell at KV Kortrijk, where he scored eight goals.
