British heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury will face Polish contender Mariusz Wach in Pattaya, Thailand, on June 24, 2026, as a tune-up before his anticipated bout against Anthony Joshua.

The matchup takes place one day before Joshua stages his own ring return in Saudi Arabia, according to ESPN.

Fury and Joshua signed an agreement with Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, to fight later this year.

Following a points victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov in April, Fury requested an immediate fight, but Joshua needed an interim bout after a December car accident.

Fury's Commitment to Thailand

"2026 is a landmark year for me in boxing and I'm excited to be able to bring this event to Pattaya, a part of the world that is special to me," said Fury.

The event will generate funds for local charities through ticket sales, according to promotions by Queensberry and Ring Magazine.

Netflix is scheduled to stream the eventual broadcast of the main event against Joshua later this year.

"We're coming together to put on a great show for the fans, while using the opportunity to give back the local community, who have been so good to me every time I have visited," said Fury.

The former champion remains focused on his training camp in Thailand ahead of a busy schedule.

"At the same time, I'm fully focused on preparing for a tough opponent and making sure I'm the best version of Tyson Fury going into fight night.
