EA Sports launched early access for EA Sports College Football 27 on Thursday, July 2, 2026, giving select gamers access to the franchise's third renewed edition ahead of its global release.
The standard version of the game is scheduled to launch worldwide on July 9, 2026, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games, PC, and the EA App.

According to USA Today, players who purchased the MVP+ Membership or initiated an EA Play subscription gained entry to the game on July 2.
Those who pre-ordered the deluxe edition or the MVP bundle will receive access on July 6, while standard edition buyers must wait until July 9.
New Features and Upgrades
The newest installment introduces major upgrades to dynasty mode, including a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) feature and "Dynasty Points" to manage programs, upgrade facilities, and recruit high school players who can now decommit.
Gameplay features include streamlined pre-snap adjustments, expanded playbooks, additional positions in Road to Glory, uniform modifications, and the return of the Mascot Mashup mode after a 12-year hiatus.
IGN reported that the tutorial system moved to the main menu via the Skills Trainer to assist with defensive adjustments.
Three new positions—tight end, edge rusher, and free safety—were integrated into Road to Glory mode.
In tandem with the rollout, EA Sports released the official soundtrack on music streaming platforms, featuring tracks from the University of South Carolina's Carolina Band.
