New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and his wife, Jen Vrabel, attended the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, July 3, 2026.
The appearance marked their first joint public outing since Vrabel announced a temporary leave from coaching earlier this spring to seek counseling.

Vrabel had stepped away to address personal matters following a controversy involving former Athletic NFL insider Dianna Russini.
“I promised my family, this organization and this team that I was going to give them the best version of me that I can possibly give them,” Vrabel said at the time.
“In order to do so, I have committed to seeking counseling, starting this weekend.”
The Patriots organization publicly supported their coach during the pre-draft process.
“Mike has been open with us about his commitment to being the best version of himself for his family, this team and our fans, and we respect the steps he is taking to follow through on that commitment,” the team stated.
Players also voiced their support. Starting quarterback Drake Maye said, “We're here for Coach.

Thankfully, he's our head coach.”
Maye added that the team expects Vrabel to return for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Russini resigned from The Athletic in April after photos from a resort vacation surfaced.
“No interest in submitting to a public inquiry that has already caused far more damage than I am willing to accept,” she stated.
