Silverstone circuit set a new attendance record with approximately 564,000 spectators gathering over the British Grand Prix weekend, organizers announced on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
The figure marks an increase of about 64,000 attendees compared to the previous record set last year.

International fans contributed significantly to the record numbers.
Guillermo and his family traveled from Nogales, Mexico, to celebrate his daughter Rebecca's 15th birthday at the historic track.
"It [Silverstone] is very comfortable," said Rebecca, noting the welcoming environment. "Everything is happy.
The people are very good and welcoming."
Her 16-year-old brother, Guillermo, expressed support for both Mexican driver Sergio Perez and British driver Lewis Hamilton.
"I wish [Lewis] Hamilton to get first place," he said, adding, "We're loving the racing, loving Silverstone. It's pretty nice.
I love F1."
Oscar Solimano, 33, arrived from Argentina with 10 other fans to support Alpine driver Franco Colapinto.
"We came over on Wednesday, we're staying at a house in Oxford and have had this planned for months," he said.
Solimano described the group as dedicated motorsport enthusiasts who recognized the venue's deep racing heritage.
"It [Silverstone] is incredible, it's one of those places that you say 'hey, there's a true petrolhead passion here.'"
He contrasted it with other circuits: "It's not like other circuits we've been to, here you breathe cars and motorsport."
Ticket pricing for the high-demand event varied, with Sunday's Grand Prix access starting from £229 and three-day general admission priced from £269.
