Inter Milan has emerged as the frontrunner to sign Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, with the player reportedly open to a move to Serie A.
The Italian club has intensified discussions with Chalobah's representatives after Chelsea rejected a £23 million opening bid from domestic rivals Como.

Chelsea has placed a valuation of €35 million, approximately £30 million to £35 million, on the 26-year-old center-back who made 47 appearances last season.
Como initially entered negotiations but has reportedly fallen behind due to the high financial costs of the operation.

Como sporting director Carlalberto Ludi publicly confirmed his club's admiration for the English defender, stating, "Chalobah is a very strong player."
